Skull and bones. Release date postponed. Again
Ubisoft has provided a new update on their long-awaited pirate project. The development process began in 2017, and despite the anticipation, the game still lacks an exact release date. Initially promised for the end of 2023, the release date has been postponed, and the nearest estimate is now in the first quarter of 2024.
Ubisoft cited two main reasons for this decision. First and foremost, developers aim to polish game optimization and network code to provide the best gaming experience in the pirate universe. Following the high standard set by Assassin's Creed Black Flag, the studio has a commitment to excellence. The second reason could possibly be related to a major release, likely the unnamed game, but speculation points to Star Wars Outlawsâan RPG game set in an open world, a classic for Ubisoft.
Despite the delay, this isn't necessarily bad news. If the studio has decided to minimize bugs and ensure the best gaming experience, it may be worth the wait for a few more months. After all, fans have been waiting for five years already.
